Kerala’s own Responsible Tourism Mission is the
closest domestic precedent, and a natural partner: it
has shown that local-community-centred tourism can
be organised and recognised at state scale. This
program adds the audited, competed-over
experience layer that turns responsible-tourism
principles into a score operators chase, and that lets
historically overlooked corridors, much of north
Kerala and build reputation on merit rather than
inherit it from history.
