KERALA RISING · FROM EXPORTING PEOPLE TO EXPORTING IDEAS
engineer, AI amplifies the person willing to do the
hard part: deciding what is true, what matters, and
what to stand behind. It did not do that part. It made
it possible to do it more thoroughly than one person
otherwise could.
The process, in other words, mirrors the book’s own
thesis: that AI is most valuable not when it replaces
human judgment but when it extends human reach,
letting a person accomplish what was previously too
large, too complex, or too costly to coordinate alone.
A book about that idea, made that way, is the
argument demonstrated rather than merely
asserted.
THE TEST THAT MATTERS
The question worth asking of this book is not
which tools were used to write it, any more than a
building is judged by whether its architect used a
drafting table or a computer. The question is
whether the ideas are sound, the evidence honest,
and the reasoning able to survive scrutiny. Judge
it on that, and nothing else.
