Objections, answered
Tourism’s objections are mostly about review
integrity and fairness to small operators.
Q. Won’t operators just buy good ratings, like
everywhere else online?
A. That is exactly why the score is built on verified
on-location visits rather than open reviews. A rating
counts only from a device that was demonstrably at
the business in the rating window, weighted toward
distinct verified visitors, with velocity and pattern
anomaly detection. A score publishes only above a
minimum volume, so a handful of planted ratings
cannot move it.
