A farmer in Adoor has never registered with the Krishi Bhavan. Registration unlocks PM-KISAN, an input subsidy, and a KCC at a subsidised rate. replacing a gold loan he used for inputs. Annual saving: meaningful. He did not know because nobody told him and the Krishi Bhavan is busy.
Farmer support flows through three channels. Krishi Bhavan, bank, central portals. each needing registration. KCC is the single most valuable instrument for working capital.
